Mrs. Emma Andrews, 79, of 509 Park St. died at 8:10 p.m. Saturday in the Walter Nursing Home. She had been ill a year. Her husband, Edward Randal Andrews, died in Marion April 19, 1942.
Born Aug. 16, 1883, in Marysville, she was the daughter of Thomas and Martha Polin Mattox. On Dec. 12, 1912, she married Mr. Andrews. A Marion resident since 1912, she came here from Marysville.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Madeline Robinson of 509 Park St., four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Hughes-Hyll Mortuary. Rev. Ray C. Dotson will officiate. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 tonight.
