QUAY 3 I talked to my mom, who got out the family bible, belonging to Al (Elwin) Sampson: "Died June 6, 1944." ..."Elwin was killed at the Murry Body plant [in Bay City, MI] while unloading timber and was crushed to death. He worked for a sawmill on the middlegrounds as did [his son] Le e for a short time."
QUAY 3 "My Parents now live near the Prescott area where my Grandmother [Mary Sullivan] was from and where she married Elwin. Elwin lived in the south end and had a small farm in portsmouth township tha t is still in the family"
