THOMPSON, Elsie Esther (Holmes) With sadness, we announce the passing of Elsie Esther Thompson on November 14, 2005 at the age of 97 years. Survived by her loving daughters, Geraldine (Ralph) Mulligan, Nora-Mae (Stan) Hjeltman, and Eleanore (Bruce) Frend, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and cherished friend, Harvey Whitson. Elsie also leaves one brother, Theodore McKenzie and one sister, Alberta McKenzie. Predeceased by her husbands, Michael Holmes (in 1960) and Robert Thompson (in 1972); brothers, Joe, Floyd and Danny, and sisters, Mae, Minnie and Rosedale. Thanks to the staff at Royal Alexandra Hospital (Stations 42 and 43) and third floor at Norwood Auxiliary. Prayer Service on Friday, November 18 at 8:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, November 19 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Basilica, 10044 - 113 Street followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 St. Albert Trail.
