    Ellery Crandall, 70, a farmer near Edgerton practically all his life, died Tuesday morning at his home northeast of Edgerton near the Gravel store. He had been ill for nearly a year.
    Mr. Crandall was born in Westerly, R.I., Feb 14, 1860, and came to Wisconsin with his parents when he was five years old. He was married in 1883 to Miss Mamie Noble.
    Besides his widow he is survived by three children, Elmer at home, Charles of Albion, and Mrs. Dale West who lives near Edgerton; three brothers, Oliver and Albert of Milton Junction, and Edgar of San Diego, Calif.; and one sister Mrs. Victoria Day of Florida.
    The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p. m., in the home, Rev Harry S. Wise of the Edgerton Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in the Albion Prairie cemetery.
