ELLEN MARGARET HUMPHREY

  METHOW - Ellen Margaret Humphrey, 69, a retired Methow postmaster, died Tuesday.
  Mrs. Humphrey was born Aug. 28, 1900, at Olympia and she married Alfred W. Humphrey there March 29, 1919.
  She came to Methow 26 years ago, and before retiring in 1968, was postmaster for 20 years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge at Omak, and the Eagles Auxiliary, Twisp.
  Her husband died in 1952.
  Surviving are her son, Alfred J. Humphrey, Methow; four grandsons and one great-grandson; three foster children raised in her home Raymond Hussey, Spokane, Mrs. Junior Cusick, Kent, and Mrs. George Sayles, Seattle; three sisters and a brother, Edith Goodell, Retsil, Gladys Paulsen, Olympia, Mabel Countryman, Methow, and Chester O. Lilly, Brewster.
  Precht Funeral Home, Omak, is in charge of arrangements.

ELLEN MARGARET HUMPHREY - Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from the Methow Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Trim officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Baird Cemetery at Waterville. Precht Funeral Home, Omak, in charge of arrangements.
