She [Ellen] may have lived with her son John [after Richard Baldwin's death] and been buried at Chesham.

  2.   Pooke is a "modern day" [1800s] family spelling for Apuke/Apoke. Noted by Charles C. Baldwin in his book "The Baldwin Genealogy from 1500 to 1881".
  3.   Because the month is absent [torn] from Ellen's will, the date [8th year of the reign of Elizabeth I] is anywhere from 24 Nov 1565 to 24 Oct 1566. Her year of death could be in either 1565 or 1566 or even 1567. Because her burial has not been found in Aston Clinton, it is possible that sometime after Richard's death, she lived with her son, John in Chesham and was buried there.
