- From undated newspaper clipping: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kistner last Sunday received the sad news of the death of their daughter, Mrs. Ella Bennett, which took place the previous day at Kansas City, leaving a child only a few days old. They received word last week that she was very sick and another daughter left at once for Kansas City, but did not reach there before her death. Deceased was born in Somerset, Pennsylvania, and was nearly 29 years of age. She lived in this city during her girlhood and until her marriage which occurred some three years ago and was universally esteemed. Her death is a sad blow to her family and friends and they have the sympathy of all. The remains were brought to this city and the funeral services, which were largely attended were held from Mr. Kistner's residence yesterday afternoon.
