- ↑ Mae C. Wertman, 1907 W. Dartmouth. Age 74 died Sunday May 8 1955 at the residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday May 11, 1955, for Fiotal Chapel at Dodda-Dumaois Co. Funderal Home. Rev. W. Leslie Williams officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Mausoleum. Mrs. Wertman will remain at Dodds-Dumanois Co. Funeral Home. Death was due to a long ilness. She was born in Mundy Twp. November 21, 1880, daughter of William and Lizzie Cross, lived in Flint and vicinity all her life. She married Harvey E. Wertman at Rankin, Mich. April 4, 1900. he preceded her in death July 6, 1932. She was a member of Central Methodist Church. Surviving are daugher Mrs. George Walther of Saginaw, Mich., son, Mr. Victor Wertman of Flint, granddaughter Mrs Richard Burr of Poughkeepsie, NY, 2 great grandchildren, Darby and David Burr, both of Poughkeepsie, NY.
