Married on November 3, 1962 to Dale Samuel Jones (1923 - 2006). ________________________________________ York Daily Record, April 14, 1994 Elizabeth F. Jones EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Elizabeth F. Jones, 74, of 4925 New Harmony Road, Evansville, Ind., died at 8 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Continuing Care in Evansville. She was the wife of Dale Jones, to whom she had been married 31 years. The service will be 10 a.m. today at the Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, Evansville. Entombment will be in Alexander Memorial Park Mausoleum in Evansville. Visitation was 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones was born Jan. 13, 1920, in Steubenville, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Lena (Colburn) and Omar Zahniser. She worked in home interior sales and was owner of Bouquet of Balloons, retiring 12 years ago. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in York. Mrs. Jones also is survived by a son, Norman Williamson of Baltimore; a daughter, Mary Hayden of Evansville; a stepdaughter, Jacquelene Jones of Arlington, Va.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Arnold Zahniser of Denton, Md. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. David Schwambach.
