  3. Source:Cutler, Nahum S. Cutler Memorial and Genealogical History, p. 347, says Jonathan Cutler married "Elizabeth, daughter of Stephen Holman of Sutton". But no daughter Elizabeth is listed in Stephen's probate file dated 1765. Stephen was born in 1730 and married in 1751, making it clear he could not have been the father of a daughter born about 1735. Elizabeth is assumed to be the daughter of Edward and Hannah, who was born in Sutton in late 1734 (i.e., almost 1735). Edward died in 1742 so his will named a daughter Elizabeth, but she is obviously unmarried at the time.
