The Temple records in St. George, Utah state that Elizabeth Cooker was baptized in 1841. Information from The John Dalton Book of Genealogy page 32. A Temple Index Bureau index card lists Betsey Cooker born 1772 Bucks, Penn married to John Dalton with a child of John born 10 July 1801. It lists her being baptized in 1841 and endowed 6 Feb 1878. This could mean she joined the Church when her boys did but decied not to go to Nauvoo or to Utah. This card is TIB 2071 Book C Page 112, Temple St. George. There is another TIB card Arizona No 8424 Book 5 Page 323 with the following information. Cooker- Elizabeth born 25 Dec 1760, Penn. Father Simon Cooker, Mother Elizabeth, married to John Dalton. Baptized 16 Jan 1938, endowed 26 May 1932. Elizabeth Cooker Dalton appears in the 1850 Census age 83. This would make her born in 1767. She is living with her daughter Harriet Verguson. Film 444,987 1850 Census 8th day of Aug. Wheatland, Kenosha, Wisconsin. Helen Snelgrove was not able to find her or her daughter in the 1860 census. Elizabeth may have died and Harriet may have moved.
