[Note: the second marriage is an error: a misreading of the records. Both the Billerica and Woburn records give the marriage of Ebenezer Richardson to Elizabeth Bacon as 21 May 1783, not 1733. Only the record of Bedford give this as 21 May 1733, and they note the marriage was in Billerica showing it was intended to be the 1783 marriage, and is a clear error. This marriage was this Ebenezer's 5th of 7, to Elizabeth Bacon, apparently the widow of Thomas Bacon (see here, for example). In any event, a marriage to the Elizabeth of this page would have been under the name Elizabeth Putnam, not Elizabeth Bacon. There is a record in Billerica of the death of "Elizabeth, w. Ebenezer" on 10 May 1763, but that does not match the date given in Danvers, and is in fact, his first wife of the mentioned Ebenezer, nee Elizabeth Shed. All-in-all, given the number of available discrepant sources, this was a very hasty (and mistaken) conclusion by Baldwin.]
