In Farina, Ill., May 22d, 1876, Eliza H. Langworthy, wife of Robert Langworthy, in the 58th year of her age. She was born and married in Truxton, N. Y., and was the daughter of Elias and Sarah B. Irish. When twelve years old, she made a profession of religion and was baptized by Eld. Alexander Campbell. Some twenty years ago, she and her husband moved from DeRuyter, N. Y., to Southampton, Ill., where they lived until they came to Farina a year ago last February. Sister Langworthy was a worthy member of the Southampton church at her decease. She died as she had lived, a Christian. Her health had been poor for the year past; the immediate cause of death was a disease of the heart. She suffered much, and was willing and anxious to be at rest with her Jesus. A husband, four children, five grandchildren, and a large circle of relatives and friends mourn her departure. For her to die was gain. O. U. W.
