Mrs Eliza Hornaday Coble, 74, died at her home, route 2, Snow Camp, at 8:45 this morning after an illness of 14 months, the last two days critical.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from Mt Hermon Methodist church, of which she was a member. The Rev W B Cotton and the Rev H L Isley will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs Coble was born in Roxboro, the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Ezekiel Hornaday.

Surviving are her husband, George W Coble; three daughters, Miss Adell Coble, of the home, Mrs Burl Holt of Snow Camp, and Mrs Edward Holt, route 1, Burlington; two sons, Oscar Coble and James Coble of route 1, Graham; a sister, Mrs Charles Coble of Snow Camp and six grandchildren. [sic: her surviving sons were James Oscar Coble and Dolph Coble]
