    27 Feb 1907.

Grandma York, mother of Mrs J. M. Harris, of this city, and grandmother of Fred and Arthur Hawn, of Granger, Benton county, was stricken with paralysis on Tuesday of last week and died the following Sunday. Mrs. York came here last fall on an extended visiting tour among her children, it being her intention to shortly start for Walla Walla and thence to California. She was 86 years old. Her son arrived Tuesday morning and, with Arthur Hawn, will accompany the remains back to Dakota where interment will be made.
