One website reports her death, unmarried, as 7 Mar 1830. But the death record on that date belongs to her brother Eli. Whether she died young, married, or died unmarried has not been determined.
↑Source:Chapin, Gilbert Warren. Chapin Book of Genealogical Data, with Brief Biographical Sketches, of the Descendants of Deacon Samuel Chapin, p. 293 claims this Eliza m. Timothy Taft, with the prophetic comment "Absence of dates makes above record somewhat doubtful". Apparently this is merely the submission of some member of the Family Association, which published this book. Looking up the birthdates for the 5 attributed children shows that all five were born to a mother Abigail, after the recorded marriage of Abigail Wright to Timothy Taft, and Abigail was Timothy Taft's widow. Considering that no such marriage record as the one presented in this source is found, and that this source has also mistranscribed the recorded birth date of "Eliza.", this particular submission is left without any credibility.
