Elijah is on the tax records of Wright Township up through 1874 and once after with the year unidentified. He is missing on the 1879 records and thereafter. According to verbal family history, Elijah is buried in Albert Cemetery without a marker. This is likely since the land deeded to Elijah by his father David was nearly adjacent to the cemetery. This "the land over the mountain" mentioned in David's will.
