We do not know the birth year of Elihu Ferrell son of Simeon. We know he was the oldest son or one of the oldest and that at Simeon's death Aurora seems to have gone to live with him. If Elihu was the son of Catherine Magoon he could not be the Elihu marrying Molley Tuttle (he could not have been more than about 14 at the time) but it seems possible that Simeon may have had an earlier marriage and if so he might have come from the first wife and be old enough to be this Elihu.
