Source:New England Historical and Genealogical Register, "Morris Families of Western Connecticut" by Donald Lines Jacobus, Vol. 71 (1917), p. 7, gives the death date of 15 Jan 1709/10 citing Source:Carhart, Lucy Ann Morris. Genealogy of the Morris Family (p. 158), which gives that date with no evidence. Later in Families of New Haven, Jacobus obviously changed his mind. It appears Eleazer executed multiple deeds in 1717, was awarded land in 1720, and was called deceased in a 1725 quitclaim executed by his children.
