DEATH: DELAND, FLA. - Eleanor L. (Knight) Malloy, 95, of Kissimmee, Fla., formerly of Norton, died March 24, 2007 at Florida Hospital Deland. She was the wife of the late Daniel J. Malloy, who died in 1989. Born in Attleboro on Aug. 1, 1911, she was the daughter of Bertie and Arvilla (Davis) Knight. She was the sister of the late Frances Barrett. She lived in Norton for many years before retiring to Florida in 1979. She was a graduate of Attleboro High School and the Rhode Island School of Design.

She worked as a ring designer for the Robbins Co., and later as a bookkeeper for the Fairfield Optical Co. and the Foxboro Co. In her youth, she enjoyed horseback riding, roller skating, ballroom dancing and later in life became proficient at many crafts.

She leaves two sons, Daniel Malloy and his wife Cheryl of DeBary, Fla., and Barry Malloy and his wife Carol of Norton; a granddaughter, Maureen Malloy of Taunton; several nieces and a nephew.

Burial was at North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro. Arrangements were handled by Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, Orange City, Fla.
