Dr. Persons was graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University (A. B.) 1891; North western Medical College, 1897; Wesley Hospital, Chicago, 111., 1898. Served as surgeon in Florida, Georgia, Manilla, Japan, Ft. Snelling, Minn., and Ft. Flagler, as above. Children: Elbert Lapsley, b. Sep. 23, 1904, at Ft. Flagler.
