  10. "Mrs. Effie Ritter, 84, of Route 1,Pleasant Lake, died Wednesday evening,September 10, and the Strup Rest home in Eden, Ohio, after a two-yearillness. She was born in Salem Township on February 5, 1855, and spenther lifetime in this area. She married David H. Ritter on February 11,1906 and he preceded her in death on May 15, 1962. Survivors include adaughter Mrs. Opal Shumaker of Route 1,Pleasant Lake, two grandchildrenand four great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held Saturday in the Mount Zion United MethodistChurch with the Rev. Joseph J. Klopfenstein of the Angola Missionarychurch and the Rev. Robert Staup of the Hudson United Brethren churchofficiating. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery. The Kistler funeralhome was in charge of arrangements."
