"Histroy of Benton County" J. K. Smith notes "He and his wife Margaret, moved into the Hudson settlement at Blue Creek and then, years later, moved to another family enclave on the headwaters of Burnside Creek, about 2 1/2 miles northeast of Camden. There Edward Hudson claimed 150 acres, his home farm, which his son, William A. Hudson, largely aquired after his father's death.
