1916 - Listed in Kelly's Norfolk Directory as a farmer in Bressingham.

1925 - Death registered in Depwade, March quarter, aged 75.

A funeral article appeared in the Diss Express on 27 March 1925, giving his death date and stating that he was aged 75 and was survived by his widow. He passed away after a long and painful illness.

From his will, Edward was living at the Limes, Victoria Road, Diss. Probate was granted at Norwich on 7 May to John Coulson Symonds, auctioneer. Edward had effects of considerable value. This couple had no children. Edward's servant, Violet Abrey, was named as one of six principal mourners at the funeral, along with his widow, a nurse, John Symonds (named above in probate) and Mrs Tutt & W Rodwell (connection unknown).
