Gene Rooks (http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=porterrooks&id=I230) reports that his family legend includes information about Edward having a brother named Bill who was a piano thief. The same legend also claims that Edward's and Bill's father (first name unknown) was a horse thief in Maine!
