1/5/1995 STRIMPLE, EDWARD E. Edward E. Strimple, 75, of Champion, Ohio, died Friday, Dec. 2, 1994, in St. Joseph Riverside Hospital. He was born in Grantsville, a son of Nelson and Ruby Knotts Strimple. He retired in 1984 as a millwright in the coke plant at LTV Steel, where he had worked for 30 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth Tindall; five sons, Nelson C. of Strongsville, Ohio; Edward E. of Cascade, Barry L. and James B., both of Champion, and Robert A. of Rock Hill, S. C.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was a nephew of R. J. Knotts, Jr., of Stumptown.
