Edward Mott

Facts and Events
He was born at Braintree, but followed his brothers to Block Island, where his marriage was recorded in 1695. He was a freeman in 1696 in New Shoreham and constable in 1700. In Kingstown in March 1713, when he sued John Greenman for trespass. He lived in the part of Kingstown that became South Kingstown, and is found there as late as 1727. He was a freeman at Westerly 1 May 1730. Administration of his estate was granted to his widow Penelope 26 May 1735.
