Edward is a pre-deceased brother in his sister, Edna's August 1999 obituary. Note from Dr. Troha: "I cannot find any additional information on Edward. He is not mentioned in his father’s 1969 obituary or that of his sister, Dorothy Jackson Page, in 1992. In the 1999 obituary of his sister, Edna Jackson Gallup Reed, he is said to have predeceased her, so I am wondering if he died decades earlier, perhaps in the 1930’s. I notice that there is no listing for a World War II Draft Card in his name on Ancestry.com, which seems strange if he was alive during the war. I searched The New York Times archives for World War II Casualty Lists containing his name, but I could not find anything."
