Made Freeman 4 Mar 1634/5, 5th in a group of six Watertown men.

His will, dated 25 Jun 1660 and proved 2 October, refers to his wife, who may reside with "his children", his son "John Dikes", his "3 daughters", daughter Abigaell wife to Thomas Parks. His widow Susanna brought suit against his executors John Wincoll and John Dix on 2 April 1661, in an action for dowry, and won 1/3 rents and the court costs.[1]
