    Major Edward Sabine Baring-Gould was born in 1871. He was the son of Reverend Sabine Baring-Gould and Grace Taylor.
    He married, firstly, Marian Darragh Linton, daughter of Alonzo H. Linton and Gertrude Darragh, on 17 November 1896.
    He married, secondly, Maud Caroline Louise Underhay, daughter of Alfred Underhay, on 7 September 1932.1 He died on 15 November 1957.
    He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Army Service Corps. He lived at Lew Trenchard, Devon, England. He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.
