Mr. Edmond "Bucky" Onushco, age 67, 315 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pa., died Monday, December 1, 2008, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center in Salisbury Twp, Pa.
Protestant by faith, Edmond attended Blythe Twp Schools and Pottsville High School. He was and avid sports fan, active in the Tamaqua Little League Association coaching while his boy's played. Bucky was a former Cub Master for Troope #73 of Trinity U.C.C. of Tamaqua, Pa. He loved listening to local bands, especially the Grease Band.
Edmond retired in 2006, after 43 years from the Packaging Coporation of America Trexlertown, Pa.
Born in Cape May New Jersey, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Melochick) Onushco.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mrs. Yvonne (Balliet) Onushco;
Three Sons, Mr. Brian C. Onushco and his Finacee Lisa Stone of Alburtis, Pa. Mr. Jeff S. Onushco of Tamaqua, Pa. Mark "Bucky" R. Onushco of Tamaqua, Pa.
Two Brothers, Mr. Michael Onushco and his wife Rose , and Mr. John Onushco both of Macungie, Pa.
One grandchild, Sean
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 4, 2008 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, December 5, 2008.
Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11 o'clock AM Friday, December 5, 2008, Rev., Dr. Wayne Benack officiating.
