Eda Lau was 11 when the picture was taken. Her parents were both born in Germany. In 1900, the family was living on 136th Street in the Riverdale area of Chicago, and in 1910 in Calumet township. Her father was an iron roller in 1900.
About 1915, Eda married Emil Matz, whose parents were also born in Germany. They had at least two children and one they adopted. In 1930, the family was living in Riverdale Village, where Emil was a policeman for the village. Emil died in 1941. I have not found a death date for Eda.
