The Daily Times-News on Friday, January 11, 1974 SNOW CAMP Mrs.. Edith Hargrove ISLEY, 56, of Rt 2, Snow Camp, died Thursday at 4 p.m. in a Burlington hospital following six months of illness. A native of Chatham County, she was the daughter of the late Ross and Ruby Smith Hargrove, the wife of Jacob Dean ISLEY who survives. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Mrs.. Deanna ISLEY Moore, Washington, D.C.; sons. Capt Rex Moody ISLEY, U.S. Army, Woodbridge, Va., .J Timothy Charles ISLEY, of the home; stepmother, Mrs..Lillie Buckner Hargrove, Rt. 1, Siler City: Mrs.. Raymond Braxton, Rt 2, Graham, Mrs.- Van Campbell, Mrs.. Rolfe Phillips. Mrs.. James Moodv and Mrs.- Billy Wilkie, all of Rt 1, Siler City; brothers, Simon J. and Bob Hargrove, both of Rt 1, Siler City; and four grandchildren. Final rites will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Friendship United Methodist Church. The Rev. George A. Davis, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at the Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington until taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will be at the mortuary today from 7 to 9 p.m. |
