Edith (Brownson), bapt. at Farmington 22 Apr. 1655 as "Eade" (NEHGR, 11:324); obviously named for her father's sister Edith (Brownson) Everett; she was alive and apparently married when her father's will was made, 27 Feb. 1684/5 (in which he called her "my daughter Eddy"), but the name of her husband has eluded the writer.

  2. Perhaps she was not married; could not Edith become "Eddy" as easily as "Eade?"
