Edgar O. Kinsel KINSEL Edgar "Hoof" O. Edgar O. Kinsel, 79, of Oregon, OH passed away February 25, 2007, in his home. He was born on April 7, 1927, to Henry and Anna Kinsel. Ed was a US army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was employed as a supervisor at Toledo Edison for 40 years, retiring in 1987, and was a member of the IBEW Union. Ed was a member of First St. Mark Lutheran Church where he was the organist, a member of the choir and church council. He also played the organ at several area churches, played in the Twilight Serenades Band and on WSPD Radio. Surviving are his wife, Betty; son, Mark (Kathy) and grandson, Steven Kinsel. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Marvin, Olen and Wayne. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2007, in First St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1121 Grasser St., Oregon, OH. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. After the funeral, a reception will be held in the church recreation hall. Expressions of sympathy in Ed's memory can be made to Hospice of Northwest OH.
