"Ebenezer Higgins ... about 1781 removed to Standish, Maine, where he was living in 1790, but he died within ten years thereafter. [Note: found in 1790 census, household headed by Rebecca in 1800 census ] Mrs. Higgins married (2) Nov. 7, 1801, Col. Nathaniel Frost of Gorham, Maine."
    [Note: it is clear from the census records and from marriage locations given for the widow and children that they resided in Maine. Thus there are no grounds presented or found for thinking he died in Truro.]
