Ebenezer Hadley, s/o Thomas Hadley and Ruth Lawrence, b. Lexington 5 May 1757 [sic], m. 11 May 1779 Phebe Winship. Was member of Capt. Parker's company on Lexington Common in 1775. Moved to Peterborough in 1804, d. 15 Jun 1810. "He fell from his horse, one foot remaining in the stirrup, by which he was dragged some distance on the ground, and was so injured that he d. the next day."
