(12) EBENEZER FLINT, 3d son of THOMAS (2), born
April 6, 1683.
He was a farmer, and lived in North Reading, on land which
was given to him by deed of gift from his father, bearing date
January 28, 1718. This farm consisted of one hundred and
twenty-five acres of upland and meadow, which long since passed
out of the family. It is thought his house stood near his brother
William's. His sons left the town many years since, and most
of them moved out of the State.
He married Gertrude Pope, daughter of Joseph and Bethsua
(Folger) Pope, who was born August 27, 1685. He died 1767.
