Earl Benjamin Ashley married Betty Evalyn Belyeu (Casey). She already had a son, Cecil Casey. After leaving Blanket in the 1930s, he was a carpenter until the day he died from a fall on a construction job, 18 Apr 1963, in Stayton Oregon. He is buried there. He and Evie had no children together.
