Ernest Everm called Dortha Pearl 'Suzanna'. He was a fiddler and used to sit in front of the Meade County Courthouse. He would fiddle and play Oh Suzannah and Suze would always dance.

Daddy Jim gave Suze the nickname Pig. This came from pick-a-ninny or because she was the 'runt' of the litter.

Upon her death on March 3, 20008 in Palm Springs, CA, her son, Christopher had her remains cremated. Chris scattered her ashes on Butterfly Beach in Santa Barbara, CA. When Chris was young, they lived in Santa Barbara and spent many hours on this beach.
