Donna Lee Loughner was born Jan. 7, 1944, in Jeannette, a daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Kifer) Loughner.
Donna married Mr. Smail, and they became the parents of a daughter and a son.
Donna worked most of her adult life as a nurse's aide at the Jeannette Hospital.
She loved listening to music; her favorites were Luther Vandross and the Bee Gees among many others. She also loved to travel and visit warm climates where she could enjoy being outdoors and swimming.
She was a beloved mother and grandmother.
At the age of 70, Donna Lee (Loughner) Smail, 70, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital.
She was predeceased by her parents.
She was survived by her daughter and son-in-law, of Greensburg; her son and daughter-in-law, of Flowermound, Texas; her two grandchildren; her sister, of Youngwood: and her brother, of Pasadena, Calif.
