Donald Eason Mansfield 

Beech Bluff, TN - Funeral services for Donald Eason Mansfield, age 81, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2012 in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home, with Brother Patrick Tignor officiating. Burial will follow in East Laurel Cemetery.

Mr. Mansfield died January 2, 2012 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was born in Madison County, TN, son of the late Benjamin Eason and Ruby Tennessee Hill Mansfield, and was educated in the local schools. Mr. Mansfield was a retired Maintenance Mechanic for Colonial Baking Company and was a member of East Laurel Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three children, Tammy Lynn Mansfield, Judy Marie Mansfield and Michael Lynn Mansfield; two brothers, Tommy Mansfield and Larry Mansfield.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Laura F. Mansfield of Beech Bluff, TN; a daughter, Marjorie L. Pruett of Henderson, TN; two sons, Phillip E. (Cecelia) Mansfield of Palm Harbor, FL and Don Allen Mansfield of Beech Bluff; eight grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lois (Bert) Jolicoeur of Pinellas Park, FL and Linda (Mike) Burke of Clearwater, FL; Steve (Trina) Mansfield of Jasper, GA.

Visitation with the family will be from 10 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. Thursday, prior to the services at the funeral home.
