Donald M. Loughner, 87, formerly of Georgetown, Gilpin, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, in the Kittanning Care Center, Manor.
He was born Oct. 8, 1918, in Jeannette to the late Edwin R. and Vernie (Hall) Loughner.
He was a helper on the electric furnace for National Roll, Avonmore, for 19 years, before retiring Feb. 10, 1970.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Leechburg.
He is survived by a son, William David Loughner of Indiana, Pa.; daughters, Mrs. Russell (Hazel Mae) Dunlevy of North Versailles, and Mrs. Buster (Dorothy Jean) McCreary of LaFolliette, Tenn.; brothers, Frank Loughner of Export, and Charles Loughner of Rochester Mills; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Juanita Jane Smith; brothers, Glenn, Edwin Jr. and Walter Loughner; and two sisters, Barbara Curry and Loretta Rodeheaver.
Friends will be welcomed by his family from 2 until time of funeral ceremonies at 4 p.m. Monday at CLAWSONS, Second at Main, Leechburg. His pastor, the Rev. Kevin Morgan, will officiate. Entombment will be in Greenwood Mausoleum, Lower Burrell.
