Don C Good Oct. 17, 1914 -- Jan. 22, 2004 ------ Don C Good 89, formerly of 1127 Buckland Ave., died Thursday morning at t he OH Veterans Home in Sandusky. Don was born in Amsden OH, to the now-deceased Earl and Ethel Fern (Holle nbaugh) Good. On Oct. 31, 1937, he married Marquerite E Nye in Fostoria. M arquerite preceded him on Aug. 3, 1993. Surviving Don are sister Joyce (Duane) Coppus of Fostoria and many lovi ng nieces and nephews. Preceding him, along with his wife and parents, a re brothers Paul and Earl Good Jr Don lived in Boston for 16 years before moving to Fremont. Don was an age nt for 20 years with Nationwide Insurance CO retiring in 1972 after whi ch he and his wife were Patron and Matron for the Sandusky CO Detention Ce nter from 1974 until 1977. He was a member of Hayes Memorial United Methodist Church. Don was a World War II veteran, having served with the U.S Coast Gua rd in the N Atlantic. He received the American/European/African and Midd le East Camp Ribbon. He was a lifemember of both the VFW and the DAV, a member of the Americ an Legion, Brainard Masonic Lodge (York Rite) and the Zenobia Shrine. D on also served as the former VFW Chaplain.
