Royal merchant, fleet of father's ships came out here and Dominico jumped ship to go after gold. Apparently he couldn't go back or he would be killed. This story was told by Charles Sonsie 50 years ago.

Dominico Sonsee was supposed to of been an Italian Count who came to Australia in his own boat, sold it in melbourne and then went after gold.His occupation are listed as Meriner/Gold Miner. Julie Clift
