Denver Jackson “Jack” House Jr., 49, Michael Street, Bettsville, formerly of Tiffin, passed away 3:12 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2006, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.

He was born May 13, 1957, in Fostoria to Denver and Ora (Hoschar) House Sr. He married Anna Grine in 1976, and they were divorced, he then married Karen McQuistion July 21, 1978, in Michigan.

Survivors include his mother, Ora Hummel of Harrod; wife, Karen House of Tiffin; son, Kyle House of Tiffin; daughters, Jackie House of Fostoria and Kelly House of Tiffin; brothers, Jeff (Jennie) House of Lyman, Wyo., Randall (Robin) House of Harrod, Wesley (Cyndy) House of Bettsville, Jason (Jennifer) House of Perrysburg and Clinton (Jerry) House of Sandusky; sister, Naomi Adams of Tuscon, Ariz.; and grandchildren, Tyler and Brendon Swanigan, Akhara Mondle, Jason Hoke II and Damion McQuistion.

His father and a sister, Greta Prenzlin, preceded him in death.

Denver worked in the shipping and receiving department at Fostoria Industries and was a 1976 graduate of Fostoria High School. He was a member of the Tiffin Brown’s Backers and UAW local 1484. Jack loved playing his guitar, NASCAR’s Jeff Gordon, the Cleveland Browns and the OH State University.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Martinez officiating. Burial will be in Kansas Cemetery in Kansas, OH.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, 2006, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
