Children of William Orcutt and Jane Washburn: Deliverance b. 1702, m. Joseph Washburn and afterwards a Packard and d. 1790. ae. 88.
↑ Several sources (e.g., S2) say the wife of Capt. Packard d. age 88, instead of 83 as S1 says. The Source:Find A Grave entry (view here) reports it as 83. I believe most of those saying 88 were influenced by the birth date of his first wife in 1702, since some of them do not even reflect the second marriage. Whether they read the tombstone independently, or assumed S1 misread the tombstone is unknown. However, as Deliverance's first husband was b. 1704, a birth date in 1707 is very reasonable, and the assumption is that S1 was truer to the tombstone without being distracted by misapplied information from other sources. None of the births of the children in the William Orcutt and Jane Washburn family seem to have been recorded. Deliverance's first marriage was not recorded either but her eldest child was born 28 Sep 1729, her last 11 Jun 1744, so either interpretation is possible.
