Dean Ambrose Bruder

Services were held Wednesday, May 28, 2003 for Dean Ambrose Bruder, 50, of New Richland, at Church of All Saints Catholic Church, New Richland with the Rev. Thien Nguyen officiating. Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery, Long Prairie. Arrangements were made by Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea.

Mr. Bruder died Sunday, May 25, 2003 at New Richland Care Center.

He was born Nov. 9, 1952 in Bertha to Ambrose and Evelyn (Miller) Bruder. He was a 1970 graduate of Long Prairie High School and attended Staples Technical College. He married Debbie Meloy April 29, 1972 in Lincoln, NE. They moved to New Richland in 1973. He worked at Brown Printing in Waseca for 30 years. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing and family.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie of New Richland; three children, Michael Bruder of St. Clair, Heidi (Tony) Klinger of Waseca and Lisa (Kevin) Blake of Dixon, CA; parents, Ambrose and Evelyn Bruder of Long Prairie; five sisters, Violet (T.J.) Howell of Lovington, NM, Elnora (David) Trout of Wadena, Susan (Donald) Wettstein of Long Prairie, Jane (Steven) Saccomen of Corcoran and Joan (Jeffery) Jauss of Duluth; mother-in-law, Melba Shaffer of Quincy, WA; and five grandchildren.
