DAYTON HARVEY, AROMA FARMER, DIES EARLY TODAY-

Dayton R. Harvey, 78, prominent farmer of the Aroma community, died at his home near Aroma at 8 o'clock this morning after two weeks illness. Born April 28 1872 near Aroma, he was the son of Charles and Margaret Harvey. He married Miss Susan B. Foust, May 26, 1895. Mr. Harvey was a member of the Aroma Methodist church and was a farmer.

Survivors include: son Kenneth Harvey of Aroma; brother Herman Harvey of Phoenix, Arizona; sister Mrs. Myrtle Leonard of Elwood; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The body will be taken to the home Wednesday morning from Copher and Fesler funeral home. Friends may call at the home. The body will be taken to the Aroma Methodist church at 12:30 o'clock Thursday noon where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock at the church. Rev. Thurman Addison will officiate. Burial will be made in the Aroma cemetery. Elwood Call Leader, Tuesday 24 October 1950
