Although this baptism gives his mother's name as Sarah, this must be a mistake. David is mentioned in documents from 1816 relating to the family's removal from Great Gaddesden to Caddington, and described as the two year old son of William Winters and Elizabeth his second wife (the removal order is transcribed on the page for David's father, William).
